Marshall received his B.S. degree in Physics and in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in 2007.
Marshall has done STM measurements of Ir on Ge(111). He also did a careful study of the effects of Argon ion sputtering energy on the formation of pyramid structures on clean Ge(110).
